My mum was killed by her family members who tormented her spiritually because she was not strong in faith. They killed her and my elder brother. They also tried to kill me but, by the grace of God, a woman whom my mum used to help carried me to her house and I stayed there till I finished my Primary school. Those who were responsible for the death of my mum later confessed and died.
My dad was sick of hernia and he was scheduled for an operation but there was no money for the operation. So he was told to go back home. He died at home. I did not live with him but this information was given to me by my aunty. After some time, I was thrown out of the house I was staying in.
I was sad because there was no hope, nowhere to go. So I went to the community where I was at Akurade Itsekiri. The people who knew my parents called my dad’s sister at Bayelsa and she came and took me to bayelsa where I Started my secondary school. By the grace of God, the government of Bayelsa state paid my WAEC and NECO exam fees. God still being faithful, Brought Sam Amaga Foundation my way, and today through the scholarship I was given to study at Salem University, Nigeria, I am now a graduate.
