On the 25th of September 2008, around 6am, the neighbourhood in Jos Nigeria where i lived was alerted by people screaming “RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.” Unfortunately, my father was caught by extremist insurgents who at this point were burning the neighbourhood down. As my father was caught, he was practically mutilated as i watched from afar. I tried running to his side but people around held me down. When it was safe to return, we only found his burnt remains. I was devastated, became suicidal and lost the reason to live with no hope for life
Fortunately, I was recommended to Sam Amaga Foundation who took me through intense counselling and gave me scholarship to the university. Now I am a graduate and a Masters degree holder. My heart is consoled and my hope is restored.
We are on an urgent rescue mission to orphans. We are all out to rescue them now before they get destroyed. We are lending a helping hand to the needy, vulnerable, most especially giving orphans a help, a hope and a future.
